Review generation and reputation for a gutter company
Review count is the clearest dividing line in this trade, and the bar is low enough to be embarrassing. The median gutter company has 6 reviews. 20% have none at all and 59.6% sit under ten. Meanwhile the average rating is 4.6 and 52.8% show a perfect 5.0, which tells you rating is not the differentiator. Count is.
A company adding four to six reviews a month passes most of its market inside a year. The method is not complicated: ask at the ladder while the homeowner is looking at a clean gutter and a tidy yard, then send the link by text before you leave the driveway. Asked in person and followed by a text, roughly a third of customers leave one. Emailed a week later, almost nobody does.
After two weeks the number to watch is the percentage of completed jobs that produced a review. Get that above twenty and the count takes care of itself. The reviews guide has the wording.
